Ensure that neither the fan nor the power
cable reach into the steering wheel or hinder
the operation of the pedals.
Mounting
Note: Adhere to the previously mentioned
safety notes before mounting the appliance.
Note: Using the suction cap
2
, you can fit
the fan
1
to all smooth surfaces. You can opti-
mise the adhesion of the suction cup by cleaning
the surface where you want to fit it in advance
with a suitable cleaner (for instance alcohol).
Press the suction cup firmly onto the surface
where you plan it to sit.
Ensure that the suction cup is in place firmly.
To remove the suction cup, press with a hard
object (such as a car key) from the side
against the suction cup and pull the suction
cup off.
Place the power cable in such a way that it
cannot hinder anyone while driving or when
getting in and out.
Operation
Use the ON / OFF switch
5
to switch the
fan
1
on or off.
Start the engine of the vehicle and plug the
12 V adapter into a correctly installed car
socket.
ATTENTION! Avoid plugging in and
switching on the fan before starting the
engine. Voltage fluctuations caused by start-
ing the engine could damage the motor of
the fan.
Switch the fan off and unplug the 12 V
adapter from the socket, before you switch
the engine off, or leave the vehicle.
Troubleshooting
Should the fan
1
not work, although it is plugged
in correctly, checked the fitted fine fuse
8
of
the 12 V adapter
4
.
Turn the cap
6
of the 12 V adapter off in
an anticlockwise direction.
Remove the fine fuse
8
and replace it with
a new one according to the specifications
in the “Technical Data”. Take care that you
fit the contact pin
7
correctly after replac-
ing the fine fuse.
